Without giving up any raw power, Echoes of Silence focuses on another side of the group, one that works as much like a giant magnetic vortex as a nuclear-gargantua footstomp – hypnotically pulsating forward-motion drone drawing the listener inexorably further and deeper until they’re left, floating in space, whirrs of buzzing wattage their only living companion.
