Catalpa huge thanks

Just rolling back in from our big music fest this weekend, and we want to send out a MASSIVE thankyou to all the bands who played, artists who contributed, lightshow-ers who lightshow-ed, cooks who cooked (Catie and Julie rock), friends who joined in the festivities, and bats who didnt attack us even tho we rousted them out of their hangout. And the setting was about as perfect as possible -- hearing the music echoing through the woods and out across the lake was pure bliss. We hope to be posting some images and sounds from the fest to the DW site sometime soon, so watch this space as they say...

We may even do it again at some point, though it's way to soon to think about right now. More DW shows are upcoming this fall however; announcements to come as things are confirmed.

Thanks again to everyone for making it such a great time!

The excursion was

The excursion was massive.  lots of love.  i really enjoy events like catalpa where everyone is in it together and brings an amazing good time to share.  a very good show from very powerful people.

i'm working on a first pass across the recordings.  there is a subtle sweakand purr of insects, incredible creatures, thick in the surrounding trees. tho ever more huge and deafening is the drumkit which pushes through the lodge , attacking wooden surfaces, coming back crashing screaming only to reflect again.

 of everyone else having media from the event, please discuss.  we can find elegant ways to share our documentation.
